Wannabe business tycoon Virender Sehwag’s loopy business plan
Never thought Virender Sehwag would be in the limelight so often? Well, all the more reason to read on!
You know how successful cricketers have this habit of opening upscale restaurants and charging ridiculously high prices for ‘the ambience and gourmet food’? Well Virender Sehwag has also joined in the fun. Apparently, he’s been selling off franchises of his restaurant ‘Food Too‘ all over the country to interested businessmen without actually intending to let ‘em have it! As a franchiser, Viru has a strange way of doing business. Our wannabe business tycoon thinks that potential franchisees should hand over a hefty cheque but have no right to expect a franchise in return!
Did Viru get a really hard knock in the head with a cricket ball? Did someone say brain dead? Makes you wonder doesn’t it?
Anyway one irate Allahabad businessman claims to have gotten caught in Viru’s loopy deal and decided to file charges against our reluctant franchiser. The matter is pending before the courts.
What’s up dude? Do you think your status as a star cricketer gives you the right to be a bubble brain at other people’s expense? All this bad press can only harm your reputation as a cricketer and wannabe businessman. Now what are you going to do with about this lawsuit?
Oh… I know… you’ll probably use the lawsuit as an excuse to not play in the upcoming ‘Compaq Cup‘ in Sri Lanka. Smart move Viru! But do take care, people have been pushed to the brink of retirement for bad press. You are walking a very thin line here. Maybe, a certain Mr. Kambli will help you refresh your memory…
