Two-Tongued Ram Gopal Verma takes a cheap potshot at Karan Johar
Ram Gopal Verma sure has a thing or two to learn about consistency. Barely a few days after he heaped praises on Karan Johar’s NRI-infested, Pepto-Bismol drama, Ramu literally ate his words by claiming that his ‘horror-thrillers’ are way more exciting than ‘candyfloss NRI stories’.
Confused?
Take a look at what Ramu had to say to a Mumbai tabloid:
“Some people have a fascination for making family dramas and I find making thrillers more exciting. And what’s wrong with it?…any day it’s better than making NRI stories.”
Well, your statement sounds excellent in theory Ramu… the problem is that you do such a terrible job of producing your ‘horror-thrillers’ or whatever they are, that KJo’s candyfloss pales in comparison. Let’s get some creative plots and solid work back into your repertoire before you start criticizing others and blowing your own rusty trumpet.
