Just as the dust was beginning to settle on the Rann-National Anthem hullabaloo, controversy’s favourite child Ram Gopal Verma has managed to stir the hornet’s nest yet again.
This time it’s the extremely distasteful publicity gimmick he’s thought up for his latest horror flick Agyaat.
What was he thinking when he hung up those grotesque corpses on the hoardings for the film? If the intention was to shock and surprise the public, let me tell you Ramuji, nobody’s amused; repulsed is more like it.
RVG’s penchant for ruffling feathers is quite legendary by now. First it was his vulgar grab at cheap publicity when he visited the scene of the 26/11 carnage with VilasRao Deshmukh, then the controversy over the theme song for Rann, and now this.
Hmm… I wonder if its just his bad Karma that makes lands him in trouble so often or whether it’s a masterfully crafted plan to grab headlines whenever and wherever possible. Yup, it’s definitely the latter I think…
We hope only Ramu and his corpses end up watching the movie.
