Near-Failure Arjun Is Now ‘Lap’ping Up Big Money

Arjun Rampal may have met little success at the Bollywood Box office, but he learnt a little something about marketing and how to use the star power of his more successful bigwig pals to further his own ambitions.

He recently inaugurated his much talked about lounge LAP.

Now, Arjun the cool dude wants to make it exclusive by opening it ‘for members only.’

Now, let us explain the smart business moves of Arjun. First, he roped in Gauri Khan, Tarun Tahilani and Rohit Bal to design a table at the lounge. By doing so, he got free publicity which he would not have otherwise generated. Next, he waits for a month till Shah Rukh is available to attend the opening. Everybody knows that Shah Rukh has a big lobby of friends in Bollywood. So, Arjun automatically earned support from bigwigs like Farah Khan, Karan Johar and many more.

Further, he is allowing only members. After all the hype, I am sure, there would be hundreds of thousands willing to be members at the lounge. So, Arjun will lap up the money upfront, irrespective of how the lounge fares.

Now, this is called killing three birds with one stone. Who would have thought this hunky Bollywood dud actually knew how to count…and even more shocking…. that he had the acumen to put together such a $weet deal for himself?
