Don’t laugh! Ditzy Lara Dutta considers herself ‘too intelligent’ for comedy

You read that right. Lara Dutta – whose only claim to fame thus far is winning that all-hype no-substance Miss Universe crown – claims that the only reason she isn’t being offered too many comic roles is because people think she is way too smart to do them! Say what?

Now, I don’t know which part of that statement is more ridiculous –

Lara’s claim of being too intelligent for comedy surely means that the only people who can actually be ‘good at comic capers’ are zero-IQ bozos. So, is Lara implying that former Bollywood legends like Mehmood, Utpal Dutta and Kishore Kumar are mindless dimwits who garnered their fame and accolades because they were… STUPID???
Lara actually believes we think she is intelligent?? On what grounds? The cheesy answers she gave at the Miss Whatever pageant, and continually dishes out at corny talk shows? C’mon girl… you should know better than that by now!

Hey ditzy bimbo, consider this: maybe the only reason you aren’t getting any of those juicy funny roles is because they require other, far more demanding talents like comic timing, spontaneous dialogue delivery, and that extra little something that transforms cheesy, forced scenes into the sheer silver screen magic that has audiences howling with laughter.

Do some research on the greatest comic actors in the world and you’ll discover that they all had/have higher than average IQ’s. So, spare us the ‘I’m too intelligent to act’ BS and focus on improving your non-existent acting skills, will you? Because quite honestly, your ludicrous histrionics and skimpy wardrobe choices don’t exactly scream “intelligence” and your pathetic efforts on the screen could never compare to the classic acting on Padosan, Chalti Ka Naam Gaadi and Khatta-Meetha… to name a few.
