Aamir Khan
Karan Johar’s managed to do what even Mr. Perfectionist Aamir Khan had failed to achieve – Yes he’s convinced Imran Khan to tweeze his overgrown eyebrows for Dharma productions’ forthcoming movie ‘I Hate Love Stories’.
So Imran Khan’s trademark eyebrows, which used to be bushier than a squirrel’s tail, have now been trimmed to more manageable proportions. Must say Imran’s looking more gentlemanly now as compared to his previous uncouth look.
Psst…. Wonder whether it was Karan Johar’s diktat or Imran’s recent super flops “Luck” and “Kidnap” that have prompted him to do away with the hairy beauties!!!
You decide….

Air Head Asin Could Face The Wrath Of Khans If She Doesn’t Shut Up Soon!
Asin amuses me. No really, she does. In fact, I am sure that a lot of others are equally amused with her. I, of course, am not talking about her uber hamming skills or her plastic ‘oh-I’m-so-adorable-and-nice’ persona. I am talking about her mouth at which she apparently has no control.
After being pounded by the media so hard for her suddenly-acquired attitude, I am surprised that the lady is still going great guns. Frankly, these were characteristics that I would previously only have attributed to Rakhi Sawant. But not anymore. Asin’s coming very close to Rakhi when it comes to drama and I am really not even kidding!
After she managed to get Salman upset with her, she’s now denying self-concocted rumors of her affair with Salman. Uh… Asin, did you just try to imply there that Salman would prefer you over Katrina...? You didn’t? Because it seemed like you just did. If you haven’t got the point yet, here it is again. You’ve irked Salman off and even if you believe that he’s having an affair with you (enough to have to deny to the media!), there’s no reason you should say it out loud.
Of course knowing Asin, she wouldn’t stop just there. She’s elated with her start off in Bollywood.
“I started my innings with Aamir Khan and I continued my good spell with Salman. That is two Khans down, two to go (Shah Rukh Khan and Saif Ali Khan).”
Watch Out Khans! The arrogance of the statement is enough to raise anybody’s eyebrows. But not mine. I have learnt to expect this from Asin. After all, if no one’s talking about you in Bollywood, you have to take on the task yourself. You start by having an imaginary affair with a screen icon, then leak it to the press and proceed from there to posture yourself arrogantly and pretend that you are a legendary screen goddess in the making and every popular actor will soon be lining up to star with you.
Here’s some advice for you lonely girl Asin, play with your dolls and enjoy yourself but know when to shut up and stop babbling about your fantasies — remember, you’re only pretending in that little make believe world you call your mind!

Aamir Khan is all set to play the legendary singer Kishore Kumar in a movie. And, this, could be Mr Perfectionist’s biggest challenge ever.
Because, it really cannot be easy to play Kishore Kumar, someone who bubbled talent and oozed dynamism from each pore of his body. Most of our actors pale out in comparison, actually. And Aamir, too, I have to say, despite his acting prowess seems somewhat sedate at times. So, I am sure this will be the challenge of a lifetime for Aamir. And for Kishore Kumar’s sake, I hope he overcomes the challenge. This movie can either be very good or can bomb. Can’t be any grey areas for this movie.
But you do have to credit Aamir with shaping up the movie, which was originally intended to be a Kishore Kumar biopic and was spreading itself much too thin. Aamir suggested that the movie instead revolve around the romance between Kishore Kumar and Madhubala. I think that’s a fine suggestion.
Oh, and Vidya Balan may play Madhubala. Well, it is true that among the current crop of actors, Vidya is the one who can carry a retro look pretty well, but of course, she is no match for Madhubala. No one can ever be, in fact.
Aamir Khan has chiselled at his creativity to arrive at a certain style, and now he will have to portray someone who was a sort of impromptu genius. This should be a good watch.

Do you remember when Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan were at loggerheads? I am sure you do, but do you remember them kissing and making up? Well, if that boggles you, welcome to Bollywood, where even the smallest of stars can put the vilest of politicians to shame with their frequent change of useful alliances.
Just days ago, Shah Rukh Khan topped Salman’s list of offenders. Then suddenly, it seemed that Salman Khan has decided to take the high road by completely ignoring the other Khans. Then again you see him celebrating Eid with Amir. All this was still tolerable. But now Sallu miyan has gone too far with his ‘I-am-cool-with-SRK‘ stand that he has assumed lately.
We know that he’s going crazy celebrating the success of his recent box office hit Wanted but what’s with this complete 360 degree turn on his relationship with Shah Rukh? Where once the two of them couldn’t remain in the same room for long, today Salman has gone and said that Shah Rukh is indeed the best in Bollywood and, “the intensity in his eyes is really romantic and could make anybody go crazy.” Ahem…Ahem…I won’t even go there on this one! Katrina are you reading this?
Methinks that ol’ Sallu’s hair-weaved head is still dizzy from his success and vigorous dance routines in Wanted. No you say? What else could account for his changing alliances, erratic behaviour and most worrying of all, that disturbing infatuation with leather-faced Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘romantic eyes’?

Salman’s Success Stuns His Critics! Hate Him or Love Him….He’s A Superstar
You have to give it to Salman Khan. His movie Wanted is running so successfully that his critics have now turned tail.
Sallu Bhai’s mass appeal is of a kind that, I am sure, is envied by the other two Khans: Aamir and Shah Rukh. He has proved beyond doubt that he is very much in business. And, at a time when such confirmation was very necessary. It was up against Dil Bole Hadippa at the halls, which has Shahid Kapoor still gloating over his Kaminey success and a very sexed up Rani Mukherjee.
This should send a message to Shahid who’s busy confusing himself to be Shah Rukh Khan already. And poor Rani, all that skin show came to naught. She had almost starved herself for over a year to wriggle into a bikini. We can’t even say better luck next time to you, Rani, and you know why.
Anyway, getting back to Salman dear, his all-out publicity efforts for Wanted paid off. And he celebrated in style, too, with each fly in Bollywood invited except for the people he loves to hate, namely SRK, the Bachchans, and Vivek Oberoi.
But he should do something about his ever-growing hate list. When Aamir and Shah Rukh have buried the hatchet and will soon work together in Danny Boyle’s next film, don’t you think Salman that you too could profit significantly by a similar collaboration? So how about forgiving and forgetting and moving on like a big-minded, successful superstar is expected to do?

No one can forget the desperate one-upmanship done by Amir and Shah Rukh when Gajini and Rabb Ney were slated for release at the same time. Shah Rukh Khan aka “The biggest brand in the country” and Aamir Khan “I am an idiot and Shah Rukh is intelligent” battled it out rather publicly while promoting their films. It got so heated they named dogs after their rivals!
Surprisingly though, hothead bad boy Salman has chosen a more sophisticated way of promoting his film Wanted. He refuses to talk about the other two Khans to avoid anything that distracts the focus on his movie. He is more accommodating to journalists and has even linked promos with charities like the NGO Umang in Jaipur.
Seems like along with hair loss Salman has gained maturity and wisdom. Maybe the hair doctors who did the hair transplants in Dubai must have secretly tinkered with his brain cells a bit during the operations ’cause Sallu is finally showing some signs of good judgment and good taste.
Way to go Sallu…long overdue for our balding, middle aged, vendetta-carrying Bollywood baddie. Hope it lasts for the remaining few years of his career.

Perhaps this is why Aamir Khan does one movie a year, though it has its own risk of being seen too little in the public space.
What Aamir does is to put all his energy in one movie, and then promote it by fair means or foul. Remember how he took up the cudgels for the Narmada campaign overnight when Rang De Basanti was in the halls? Never mind that he was then the brand ambassador of Coca Cola, who was guzzling water in a Kerala village. And now he’s going about calling himself an idiot (his next movie is 3 Idiots) and referring to SRK as “too intelligent” in the same sentence, which hits the proverbial two birds with one stone.
But, let me not digress. Aamir’s strategy does work, and ‘Fahid‘ needs to learn, quickly. He’s blabbed about Kaminey so much, that the hype will take some time to die. Especially so because Kaminey is a forceful movie.
But Shahid doesn’t have time, Dil Bole Hadippa is breathing down his neck, and he quickly has to change avatars. Kaminey has been a huge hit and expectations are way too high from Shahid and his performance in his forthcoming movies will be gauged by the Kaminey meter.
Recently, he said somewhere that he’s surprised at not being linked with Rani Mukherjee, as he’s always being linked up with his co-stars. Take the cue, Shahid, we still haven’t gotten over the act you and Piggy Chops put up pre-Kaminey.
And once DBH is through, Chance Pe Dance will be on us soon enough. Shahid, we understand that Johnny-come-latelies like you need to cash in before the magic dies down, but audience fatigue and boredom may set in sooner if you try to stuff yourself down our throats this way!

Star Wars Erupt Again as Aamir Disses SRK! How Will He Retaliate?
Slumdog Millionaire ace Danny Boyle thought he’d have it much easier in Bollywood, after his debut emerged as a runaway success – both critically and commercially. This man, who has worked with some of Hollywood’s most awe-inspiring names like Leonardo Dicaprio and Tilda Swinton, probably expected the same level of professionalism and dignity with our Bollywood brat-pack, when he decided to launch his second Mumbai-based film named Bombay Velvet.
And so, against all odds (read: starry tantrums), he worked hard to rope in the two reigning superstars of Bollywoodland – namely, Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan, in what was touted to be a casting coup of sorts. In the past, SRK has made no secret of his disdain (professional jealousy?) of Aamir, with generous sound bites and entire interviews dedicated to bad mouthing the Ghajini star. Not one to be outdone, Aamir responds in kind… creating a very boring, tiring and tedious Bollywood Star Wars for our news-starved media to lap up.
However, when working with a reputable, Oscar-winning name like Mr. Boyle, one would imagine that these two studs would put their petty disputes aside and get to the task of creating celluloid magic – after all, isn’t that what their job is really all about? Unfortunately, our Khan klan seems to think otherwise.
After a well-deserved (at least for us) vacation with wife Kiran, Aamir Khan is back where he began…taking cheap and totally unnecessary potshots at SRK. According to fresh reports from a leading Mumbai daily:
When Aamir walked in late on Sunday night, he was approached for an interview by a TV reporter. Since Aamir had returned from France, the reporter wanted to know whether, he too, like SRK, was stopped at international airports and interrogated for being a Khan. That’s when Aamir retorted that such checks are a routine matter. He also added tongue-in-cheek that, ‘No one checks me as I am an idiot’, obviously referring to his forthcoming film, 3 Idiots. Then he went on to add that SRK had a problem as he is very intelligent. Aamir’s obvious reference means that the fuss created by SRK about being stopped at the airports was a mere publicity stunt.
C’mon Aamir! Can we give the childish war of words a rest already? Yes, we know SRK created a huge hullabaloo over an incident which is almost commonplace in today’s times, and yes, we understand that it might have something to do with the subject matter of his latest flick My Name is Khan which deals with the plight of Indians in New York. It was a cheap publicity stunt… we get that.
As one of the leading names in Indian cinema, you should know better than to act like an immature, SRK-obsessed tattle-tale, whose only means of publicity is to diss another colleague. It’s called professionalism and it’s about time you learnt some.

For once, the difference has been made between a true actor and some mere tinsel stars.
SRK and Aamir have had to bow out of the 55th National Awards, trumped as they are by Kannada-Tamil-Telugu actor Prakash Raj.
What were they thinking anyways? SRK’s Chak De for all its hoo-ha is a feel-good personality-development movie — the kind that abounds in Hollywood. And a lot of the work has been put by the girls, too.
As for Aamir, Taare Zameen Par’s success rests solely on the little shoulders of Darsheel Safary. And there cannot be any argument on that.
I have not seen Prakash Raj’s Kanchivaram for which he’s got the award, but know enough about the gifted actor to agree that he definitely deserves it.
Sorry boys! The award is for genuine actors, not over-hyped Tinsel Town stars. Kudos to the jury!

Vengeful Salman Khan’s Hit List of Hate
Salman Khan detests ‘F’ words. He hates them with all his might.
It’s not the four letter variety that he hates though. It’s the seven letter one that’s spelt F-O-R-G-I-V-E. The other is F-O-R-G-E-T. And he hates to forgive and forget. Get on his wrong side and you’ve got yourself an enemy for life.
Vivek Oberoi learnt it the hard way after his olive branch was snubbed very publicly by Salman on stage at an awards function a few years back. Shah Rukh Khan is bearing the brunt of his wrath with Sallu Bhai leaving Aamir far behind in taking the choicest of pot shots at King Khan through the media. And now it’s Shahid Kapoor who’s at the receiving end.
Salman hasn’t forgiven Shahid for locking horns with him during the Rockstars international tour- a good three years ago. Neither has he forgotten. And the short-tempered Khan made his animosity plain when he snubbed Shahid on his show Dus Ka Dum in one of the latest episodes (yet to be aired).
According to insiders, Salman was extra warm to the other guest Rani Mukherjee while practically ignoring Shahid. Poor Shahid, who’s been so full of himself after the success of Kaminey, was left speechless and stunned. Phew!
Makes me wonder, is Salman getting crabby and vengeful in his old age? Or is he getting schizophrenic, imagining hostility where none exists? Oops, I better shut up before After Packup ends up on his hit (hate) list too, wot say?
