Bumbling Shah Rukh Khan wants Wasim Akram to turn around KKR

Leela earlier wrote about the possibility of Akram becoming KKR’s new coach.

The update is that Wasim bhai recently met Shah Rukh Khan behind closed doors and that obviously set tongues wagging. It turns out, he wants to be a consultant and a bowling coach to Shah Rukh’s Kolkatta Knight Riders.

(Apparently SRK wants the new coach to be on board ASAP so that he can himself spend quality time on the cheerleader auditions!)

Seeing how KKR has performed in the past, turning easy matches to close fights and some of those to shocking defeats, poor Shah Rukh may welcome an experienced guy like Akram on his team.

I am sure that Akram will give SRK better ideas than the hare brained John Buchanan. But does SRK have any way of knowing what is good and what is not? The fact that he stood by John for such a long time, just goes to show why movie stars shouldn’t do cricket.

Anyway Wasim, good luck on this one. You’ll need it! It’s amazing to see that smart people still want to climb on to this sinking boat!
