Sabina Khatoon got her 15 minutes of fame, alright, when she frantically tried to kiss Irfan Pathan in Kolkata, only to be gently brushed aside at first, and then firmly.
It’s easy to lose control when you meet someone whom you’ve only seen on TV or in the papers, but Sabina takes it a step further and says she was hurt at Irfan’s gesture. Well, madam, when I last checked celebrities still owned the rights to their bodies. Yes, we are saying this on AfterPackup, where we make a fine art of celeb bashing.
And maybe it’d have have helped if you were a lil much taller?

Yes, we know Kangana Ranaut and Adhyayan Suman have been hollering about their ‘amicable breakup’ to all and anyone who will listen. But unfortunately, the clichéd ‘we are still good friends’ line that Kangana has been mouthing with merry abandon can only take her so far… the heartbroken lass is embittered enough to impose a Mira-esque celibacy on her love life and has even gone on record to pledge her heart to none other than Lord Krishna himself!
Adhyayan on the other hand, seems to have wasted no time pining over a relationship that obviously was never meant to be. Unlike his ‘concentrate on my career’ excuse, he is now busy honing his amorous pursuits with the more family and reputation-friendly ‘childhood sweetheart’. And while Adhyayan has left no stone unturned to flaunt his newfound love in full public and media view, his sweetheart’s name has cleverly been withheld so as to not offend the delicate sensibilities of the Suman household. Hypocrisy much? We definitely think so.
Fortunately for Kangana, her career is going great guns post-Adhyayan and the damsel has never look better. Case in point being the very ladylike cover-shoot with Grazia magazine, in which Kangana flaunts her wasp-waist in a fierce Dolce and Gabbana ensemble.
An uncomplicated heads-up to Adhyayan: we know you are cashing in on your steadily-rising Bollywood star, but refinement is undoubtedly a two-way street – you give as good as you get.

First the recession, then the strike in the multiplexes and now swine flu. It seems that Bollywood just can’t catch a break. Yeah tough luck this year people.
This is definitely tough luck for Vishal Bhardwaj’s ‘Kaminay’ that released recently. For all he knows, by the time Pune and Mumbai are cleared of the H1N1 scare, more than half of Maharashtra would have already seen the movie on pirated discs. However, dear piggy chops is up against the piracy, tweeting furiously about how people should wait for multiplexes to reopen and not see the pirated versions of the movie.
I sympathize with you Priyanka, I really do. After the spectcular failure of ‘Drona’ (Just the thought of it has made me feel faint. Excuse me a second while I clear my head of the menacing images and the disturbing remembrance of ‘Drona‘), simply ‘Fashion’ and ‘Dostana’ will not do to redeem you. I really truly do hope, for your sake Priyanka, that the country is rid of swine flu once and for all!

Never mind who’s saying My Name is Khan, we know who’s the real deal, at least in the virtual world. And he doesn’t even have to blog or tweet his claims to fame.
Ladies and gentlemen: Salman Khan is the king khan on the internet! According to a recent survey, he’s the most searched Khan among Shah Rukh, Aamir, and Saif.
I must say it’s somewhat of a revelation that he’s beaten SRK to it. I would have guessed that controversy-shy and intensely personal Aamir is clearly not in the race, neither is Chote Nawab, of course (name says it all, eh?).
All news has certainly turned out to be good news for this Khan. All those controversies he always find himself in have gone a long way in building brand Salman Khan, and what a brand it is… Bring ‘em on, Sallu Bhai, and don’t you mellow down. It’s bad for business.

I can’t tell you how impressed I am by Satish Kaushik’s Teree Sang, Bollywood’s first film on teen pregnancies. Movies are the strongest medium of delivering a socially relevant message, and this definitely is a much required one for today’s society.
You may like the movie or hate it, that’s not the point. What the movie does is to shove an issue in your face, which people would rather push under the carpet. Teenage mothers have always been there, it’s just time we acknowledge them.

Initially it was health problems that affected Ash’s and Abhishek’s shooting schedule. First it was ace director Mani Ratnam’s bad health that caused a shooting schedule for Raavan to be pushed back and then it was director Abhinav Deo’s wife who was taken ill later, causing the rescheduling of the film Crooked (soon to be renamed before release).
As if all this is not enough, while shooting for the multi-million budget film Raavan, Ash and Abhishek were checking out on the elephant which was to make a guest appearance in the film, which unfortunately turned into a villain running berserk, killing even its mahout.
It nearly went on a stampede and the Bachchans and Mani Ratnam were in a hide out, until people came to their rescue which was after ten long hours in the jungle. Now, it proves one thing- the cock and bull stories of the bollywood hero shooing away even a berserk elephant just with one fiery sight can now be proved utter nonsense.
Well, haathi bhaiyya, is that what you wanted to convey?? Anyways, lets pray the lovely duo get some respite from their jinxed past and get back to work as soon as possible…no more adventures please!!!!

I’ve always believed Salman’s the best, and now he’s proved it. Just to stay his sexy self, Sallu bhai has kicked his long-standing habit of smoking. Man, that must have been tough. It’s still early days and we really hope that he’ll be able to go strong on this.
Their looks are the biggest assets for stars and botox can only do so much. They could choose to look gorgeous the healthy way, stay in demand, and also be role models. If Sallu can quit, you can, too.
